Paint++

Another pencil sketch that I created today based on a poster that I had purchased in my UnderGrad days!! This one didn't come out too well. Probably because I had a heavy breakfast and was asleep half'way through this!!



I think I wouldn't sit down some other day to pen this; so I will also add my thoughts on the Z555. Why??

These images were captured using the new Sony Ericsson Z555 flip that I had bought for my Mother last week. The image quality (1M) is so-so and the sound from the loud speakers isn't as good as the W series phones of the same manufacturer. In fact it is pretty low that without the vibrator turned on, the device would end up being a missed-call dust-bin! No qualms were reported about the UI by my Mother, though I personally hate the SE interface. The phone impresses (would rate it 10 on 10) with its prism like looks and the small external display that is pretty useful. To me, the USP of this phone (the gesture control feature, whereby you can silence a call or alarm by just waving your hand over the phone) is probably the most worthless feature that can be thought of; Why would someone come all the way to the phone and wave over it..Why not pick up and silence it??...Overall a 5.5 on 10!

For all the trouble that I took to purchase this model (launched very recently in Indai and I couldn't find it stocked with major retailers in Chennai), the joy on her face on seeing a flip phone that she had always wanted was unbounded!!

I have also changed the car audio system from my old Pioneer casette player to a Sony Xplod GTS270 (After sooooooo much research!!). Guess what.. I gave my father a CD with MKT, TR Mahalingam hits, SV Sekar and Crazy dramas and he wouldn't even let me change it all the way from Chennai to Neyveli!! Obsessed...

After all, being jobless, has its own advantages!
