Mission: Management 2008

Another exam passes by..no big change from my previous attempts...start with a boom and end up in a bust..somehow I find something to crib about each year.....with nothing much to do during the exam, i was left alone with my thoughts for a couple of hours today(whew..what a waste of time..I should’ve slept or watched Krish in Tamil)..but the final essay section of the paper gave me an opportunity to vent all my thoughts..

Here is how it goes....Invariably there is something wrong about the selection of test centres for these management exams every year..and today’s was the best...the centre (how can it be called so..when it is located in a hidden location in Anna Nagar, requiring the uninitiated to search for hours..I being one of the lucky few to have had prior experience of visiting this place) was a women’s college...considering the fact that close to 60-75% of the population taking up the exam was of the other gender...even otherwise it makes a lot of sense to conduct an exam in a co-ed...the most ironical part of the exam was the topic of the essay..’Consequences of gender imbalance – Third World War’..it was of no sense to me, taking up the exam in a women’s college and my own hall having more than 10 of them (;)..)..i managed to blast the topic in the hope that I would never make the PI stage..I still remember the sly smile and satisfaction that i had, when i wrote those finishing lines.....’In my opinion, Gender imbalance is no longer an issue and is not an issue that demands global attention’.. (i should look at the evaluator’s facial expressions when he gets my paper..to see the topic of the essay having been treated with such disrespect!!...)

Finally, a couple of shots of Rum and a heavy lunch did a world of good to my health..my cough and cold seem to be out...and am in a trance as I write this (4 hours after the shots..)...and i hope to sleep for hours without being disturbed..(The irritation at being held up on phone on Saturday night for some stupid issue at office really irked me..)..

My finishing lines..
